AmericaxDepressed!Reader

Another box of tissues landed in the garbage.  Your make-up ran down your (e/c) eyes making streaks across your damp cheeks.  Sniffling away the remaining tears you sighed as you once again looked in the mirror to clean away the evidence of your tears.  You were recently dumped again by your (ex)boyfriend  Arthur.  Why you kept going back to him?  You had no clue.  

Maybe it was his gentleman ways, or his charms, or how he could make you believe that he was truly sorry for what he did.  You didn't know.  All you knew was he dumped you again for the another woman.  Not surprising it wasn't the first time.  Anger boiled up inside you angry at yourself for letting this happen again.

To make things better it was storming out making your depressed mood a lot more….depressing.  Your phone has been ringing constantly from some of your close friends asking if your were okay and the answer would always be the same….'I'm fine…no you don't have to come over'.  When in reality was that you didn't want anyone to see you in this state.  

A knock came through the house.  Ignoring it hoping they would go away but to your displeasure it didn't but only got louder.  Sneaking a quick glance at the door you wondered who it was when.  "(NAME)!  DUDE OPEN UP!" you flinched at your good friends booming voice.  His knocks got louder "come on (Name) I know your in there" sighing you got up and made way to the door.

Opening it gradually you glance up to meet happy blue orbs which turned into worry.  "(Name)?".  You forced a smile as you stepped aside giving him room to enter.  Placing himself on the couch he watched you as you sat beside him "so what's up Alfie" he smiled "thought I'd come check you out I was bored and Britian was getting a little…well you know" he laughed as you smiled sadly.

His laughing stopped as he looked at you worried "did he?" you sighed and nodded tears forming in the corner of your eyes.  He sighed in annoyance as you giggled (or tried to) "don’t worry about alright" his eyes were full of worry but nodded nonetheless.  Quickly jumping up he smiled "come on we're going out" raising an eyebrow "and where may I ask are we going" he stood there with his goofy smile on his face "to make you feel better duh" he said in-a-matter-of-fact tone.  Smiling you nodded as you quickly changed and off you two went.

You still feeling a bit depressed but not much as alfred kept making you smile and even laugh once or twice.  That was until "you bloody git why did you leave me there" you froze already knowing who it was.  Alfred turned confusion written on his face "and who the hell are you with".   Your blood went cold as panic ran through you it has only been a few days since he dumped you and seeing him would just hurt more 'no anybody but him' alfred noticed your state panic and quickly turned grasping your arm.

"Sorry dude but I gotta get my date to our destination" he laughed nervously when another pair of hands grasped your arm.  "And who would date you you git" you flinched at his touch as he turned you around making you face him.  He stood there shocked as did you and alfred just looked between the two of you glancing back and forth.

Your shocked expression turned into a glare as did his "I see" he whispered letting go of you.  "Look britian dude-" he was cut off by arthur's laughing "of course she would date you" he laughed harder as alfred's face paled.  Yours red from anger what happened next shocked all three of you.  You smacked him across the face then all went silent America stood there jaw dropped England's face slightly turned with a red hand mark and wide eyes.  You with wide eyes staring at your hand.  

So many emotions ran through you at that moment fear, anger, sadness.  Tears brimmed your eyes as you turned and ran.  "(NAME!)" alfred yelled but you didn't stop you kept going.  Home.
That's where you wanted to be back in your home where no one would bother you.  Where no one will hurt you ever again.  

Unfortunately it was too far to actually run too as your legs eventually began to give out.  Stopping you collapsed onto the ground sobbing.  Didn't take long to notice other footsteps gradually making there way towards you.  "(Name?)" he whispered sadly you groaned in frustration "leave me alone Al…please" you choked out.  

He sighed "listen I'm sorry I didn't think he would be there" "it's not your fault" you whispered attempting to wipe your tears away.  He sat in front of you and hugged you tightly causing you to blush "Al?" he stiffened and tightened his grip on you.  "(Name)…I hate seeing you like this" he shook a little as you pulled away gently glancing at him to see tears.  

You blinked in confusion but worry took over as you wiped his tears "don't cry because of me Al" he smiled gently as your eyes locked.  He leaned in slowly and gently placed his lips onto yours.  You stiffened at the touch but soon began to melt into it.  He smiled into the kiss tilting his head for better access deepening the kiss making it more passionate.    


Pulling away he smiled which you returned "I'll always be here for you (Name)" you snuggled into him as he embraced you tighter "I'll always be your hero…..I love you" "I love you too"
